December has always held a special kind of magic, but this year felt even more meaningful. It was my first time offering Christmas Minis and also my first festive season as a mum with a six month old on my hip. Between feeding, cuddling, nap times, editing sessions, and creating a little Christmas set in my home, it was honestly a whirlwind in the best possible way. Casper sat beside me for most of it and somehow made it all feel extra special.

I truly want to take a moment to thank every single person who supported me this year. To my returning clients who feel more like family now and to the new faces who trusted me to capture such cherished moments. You have all made this year one I will never forget. I have made so many beautiful connections through photography and have met the kindest souls along the way.

Christmas Minis were never something I created to make money. In fact I was probably one of the cheapest in Gladstone. I wanted them to be a gift and a way to give back to the families and friends who have supported me. Seeing little ones giggle in the set and watching parents get a moment together in front of the camera meant more to me than anything.

This year also sparked something new in me. I loved filming behind the scenes content and I cannot wait to do more of it. I want to document the process a little more openly and share the real moments of juggling motherhood and photography. Next year I am excited to step into vlogging with more confidence and maybe even share a few “how I got the shot” videos for anyone who loves learning or simply enjoys the story behind an image.

I am also dedicating next year to learning even more and widening my skills as a photographer in Gladstone. There is always something new to master and I cannot wait to grow, create, and keep capturing families, couples, and beautiful moments in our community.

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for being the reason my little photography business continues to grow. I cannot wait to capture your memories in the new year and I am so grateful for the love you have shown me, Casper, and Stella Wickham Photography.

Here is to more memories, more magic, and more moments that last a lifetime.
